The location is super central, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The room was stylish and spacious-definitely felt more luxurious than your average hotel room! Plus, the staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home.
I was dragging my suitcase up two flights of stairs, which was no fun at all. the bathroom fan was broken, and there was a bit of noise from the pub downstairs—had a hard time getting to sleep at times. it was a mixed bag!

The newly refurbished rooms are beautiful and comfortable, though be prepared for stairs as there's no lift. While the spa was out of action again, the welcoming staff and clean accommodations made up for it. Close to landmarks like Anzac Park and Turners Beach, it's perfect for family bonding after a busy day exploring Tassie.

During my recent stay, I was particularly eager to visit the Ulverstone History Museum, drawn by my fascination with local heritage. I chose the Lighthouse specifically for its proximity to this landmark, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely dining experience at the Atrium Restaurant. They utilize some of Tasmania's finest produce, and I appreciated the adjoining indoor play area, which made it easy to keep an eye on my children while enjoying a delicious meal. The friendliness of the staff added to the fantastic experience, making it a place I would happily return to.
I did not realize it was located in a pub.

I had a decent stay here! The newly refurbished rooms were really beautiful and comfortable, and I loved that it was right in the heart of town, close to restaurants and cafes. Plus, my room stayed cool despite the muggy weather outside, which was a big win for me.
I wasn’t thrilled about the noise from the pub downstairs. I could hear music during the day, and it sometimes disrupted my chill time. the bathroom was super cramped. Not the best experience overall, I gotta say!

I was really surprised by the value for money; the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was a dream!
The breakfast option could benefit from more variety in the menu.

i had a wonderful stay at the hotel, which had recently been updated. the room was comfortable and very tastefully decorated, providing a great atmosphere for relaxation. the staff were incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for local activities. the bistro meals were generous in size and delicious—i definitely recommend a visit for food. despite being above a pub, it was pleasantly quiet once the bistro closed at 8:30, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Nothing could have been better. 😃.
